Illawarra Branch

Illawarra Branch
The Illawarra branch started operation in October 2016 with a small meeting of local Renew members. Since then we have run a number of successful activities and participated in the UOW Global Climate Change Week activities.
- You can download our Zero Emissions submission to Wollongong City Council based on our meeting here.
- We have also produced a revised version incorporating details of Power Purchase Agreements. You can read the revised version (April 2020) here.
Explore the novel proposal to build a local PV-Community-Scale-Battery here. Some members of the Renew Illawarra Branch are leading this project.
The Illawarra Branch generally meets at UOW Innovation Campus (Squires Way, North Wollongong) – ITAMS Building.
We meet on the unceded lands of the Dharawal, Wadi Wadi, and Yuin people.
We organise a number of activities during the year and assist with Sustainable House Day.
Co-Convenors – Carrie Wilkinson, Zak Nicholson
