When: Thursday 30th May 2019, 6:50 for 7:00pm.
Where: Room G01, ITAMS Building (233), UOW Innovation Campus (Squires Way, North Wollongong)

Meet Nick Taylor, scientist and engineer, long-time advocate for climate action and renewable energy, and very keen cyclist. Nick’s on a personal pilgrimage to find and promote truly sustainable endeavours across Australia while personally recovering from burnout. He was National Coordinator for Solar Citizens for a number of years.

Nick is on a solo bicycle journey from the southern end of Tasmania up the east coast of Australia, travelling to innovative sustainability projects along the way, promoting and blogging about them as he goes. It’s a search for good-news-stories, to get inspired and hopefully inspire others. And he’s finding some very good stories to tell, documented already in the blogs on his website pedallingforwards.com.

How to get to the Meeting
The ITAMS Building (233) is in south-western corner of Innovation Way, in the University’s Innovation/East Campus (not the main campus). The campus has two entrances:
The eastern entrance is from Squires Avenue, into Puckey Way, the western entrance is from Montague Street, into Puckey Way.
About half way along Puckey Way there is an intersection where you turn south into Innovation Way. The ITAMS building is on the right/western side towards the end.
Best parking is probably in area P7, just past the ITAMS Building. Parking is free after 6:30 pm.

We hope to see you there,

Greg Knight, Interim Convenor
