How is the Environment Travelling?
A lot of good work is being done to be more sustainable and reduce greenhouse gases. It is taking a long time. Meanwhile…. have you ever wondered how mother nature is coping? This is a big question. I have asked Georgia Watson to take us on a tour of some of the eco-systems she has studied in her career and how she is using that knowledge to support Women in STEM.
Georgia is a science communicator and ecologist with a background in forest and Antarctic research. She holds a First Class Honours degree in Biology from the University of Wollongong. She now coordinates the LIFT program at iAccelerate, and is a participant in the global leadership program Homeward Bound. She is a passionate advocate for inclusive, climate-focused science.
