Sustainability education & advisory services
Renew offers expert education and advisory services to a range of government, business and community clients on the economics, technical, regulatory and operational aspects of efficient and environmentally sustainable technologies and practices. Our expertise resides in our technical knowledge, communications capacity and the substantial knowledge base of our membership.
Council Programs
Renew works with local governments across Australia to support community-led climate action at the household level. As a national, not-for-profit organisation with over 40 years’ experience, we help councils connect residents with trusted, independent advice that reduces emissions, improves home comfort and supports local sustainability goals.
Councils play a critical role in leading the transition to a clean, net-zero future. Renew partners with councils to make that task easier—distilling complex sustainability issues into clear, practical programs that residents and local businesses can understand and act on. Our work spans education, events, resources and content, many of which are also delivered through our broader public services.
Renew offers councils flexible, ready-to-deliver programs covering energy efficiency, electrification, solar and batteries, electric vehicles, sustainable building, water and greening, and climate-resilient homes. Programs can be delivered as webinars, in-person presentations, community events or tailored packages designed around local priorities.
Independent, credible and free from commercial influence, Renew brings deep technical expertise and strong community trust. We help councils engage their communities with confidence—supporting measurable action, informed decision-making and lasting change.
