Renew Home magazine is the best of sustainable living in print.

More than a magazine, Renew Home is a place where ideas, expertise and community converge. Bringing together Australia’s leading voices in sustainability, design and environmental journalism, it offers evidence-based advice, rich storytelling, practical inspiration and thought-provoking deep dives into the issues shaping the way we live.

Because when we talk about home, we mean more than four walls.

Home is the house we live in, the spaces we create and the everyday choices we make.

Home is the neighbourhoods and communities we belong to.

And home is the planet we all share.

Renew Home is where these worlds meet.

It’s a magazine for people who want to live more sustainably, understand the world around them and feel empowered to make a difference. From regenerative design and sustainable homes to energy, climate, culture and community, Renew Home brings together everything you need to live well and tread more lightly.

A new chapter, built on a proud history.

With the launch of Renew Home, we’ll be saying goodbye to our much-loved Renew and Sanctuary magazines as standalone publications. Both have played an important role in shaping conversations about sustainable technology and design in Australia, inspiring generations of readers to rethink the way we build, renovate and live.

As part of a long tradition of independent environmental journalism, we’re proud of the decades of trusted reporting, practical expertise and compelling storytelling that have shaped these publications. Our network of contributors includes some of the most knowledgeable voices in their fields, and Renew Home offers an exciting opportunity to bring their expertise together in new ways, responding to the challenges of climate change, the energy transition and the evolving possibilities of sustainable living.

Backed by a passionate community and built on decades of knowledge, Renew Home represents an evolution of everything our readers have come to know and love, with a broader perspective and an even bigger vision for the future.

It’s a new chapter for Renew, but our purpose remains the same: to help Australians create a more sustainable future, together.

a) refund on the unused portion of your second subscription.

What if my subscription was on auto-renew?

Unfortunately we have had to turn off the auto-renew on your subscriptions to Renew and Sanctuary magazines and any associated payments such as Renew membership payments, as we phase out the magazine products and replace them with the new magazine in our system.

Your auto-renew can easily be reset when you resubscribe to Renew Home, and we would love for you to set that up again!

Do I still get a discount on my magazine if I am a member?

As part of this change, we’re ending the 50% member discount on print magazine subscriptions. This wasn’t an easy decision. Over the past few years, postage, handling and printing costs have risen sharply, and it has become increasingly difficult to offer a print publication at a price that reflects what it actually costs to produce and deliver. We also know that many of our members prefer to read online and don’t want a print copy at all. Separating membership from print publications gives everyone a simpler and fairer arrangement: membership supports Renew’s work and continues to include – among many other things – digital editions of the magazine and our full archive, while those who love print can subscribe at a price that reflects the cost.

Thank you, as always, for supporting Renew and the work we do together.
