Local food growing & urban farming
This is the topic for discussion at the next Sustainability Info Night, hosted by Renew Sydney Central Branch with some great speakers.
Saturday 30th November, 2:00 – 4:30 PM at the Inner West Sustainability Hub, Summer Hill.
A free event in person or online. Doors open at 1:45pm, webinar goes live at 2:10pm.
In a cost of living and climate crisis, access to good, healthy and affordable food can become critical. Growing food locally in the urban environment is one way to make that happen and to make it accessible.
To celebrate Urban Agriculture Month, come along and listen to our great panel of speakers discuss this and other issues such as …
- what is currently happening around the Sydney area?
- how can people get involved?
- what other opportunities are there?
- what needs to change to make them happen?
