The various situation requirements and the appropriate system configurations available to satisfy them will be discussed; as part of this Aaron will describe what is meant by the expression “storage ready” when used by various entities and the importance of understanding this when planning a grid-connected system to which storage will be added at a future date.

Speaker: Aaron is the Victorian State Manager for Off-Grid Energy Australia and has over 11 years of experience working in the solar and storage industry including five years running his own solar business. He has experience with grid connect solar, grid-connect battery systems and off-grid systems in both residential and commercial sectors. Aaron has a Cert IV in Electrotechnology (Renewable Energy) and has CEC Accreditation for grid-connect solar design. He’s also in the process of completing Gird-connect Storage and Stand Alone Power Systems courses. Aaron has been an ATA/Renew Member since 2007 and has also been actively involved in local community group Surf Coast Energy Group (SCEG) including eight years on the committee and two as president.
