For our final meeting for 2019 we invite members and friends to an informal end of year get together – ‘My Project Night’.
The aim of this evening is to share our experience and get know each other a little better. Everyone is welcome, pizza and nibbles will be provided. We invite you to come along, enjoy the company of other like-minded Renew members, chat, and share a sustainability project you have been working on. Share with us what you tried to achieve, what you learnt and suggestions for others. You are welcome to join us and listen what other members have been up to this year. Our personal experience may provide inspiration for your own project.
So far, we have members talking about their projects in water conservation, waste reduction, sustainable housing and energy saving in not for profits. Some projects are small, some larger, but all aim to benefit the environment in some way.
If you would like to share your project, please email or phone Marisa Pizzica beforehand at marisapizzica@live.com.au or 0409 061651, to gauge numbers.
Note: we have allowed up to 15 minutes per person – 10 minutes talk and 5 minutes for questions. Members will be speaking informally from their seats at this event. Images welcome but not essential.
Our Annual Meeting will follow from 7:30 – 8:30 pm.
The Annual Meeting will involve an election of committee office bearers and committee members for the coming year. As some committee members may be stepping down, we are keen to have new members become involved. If you have some time and resources to spare and would like to become more involved, please consider standing for the committee. It you want to know more about what this entails please phone or email Graham Hunt on 0403 547 457 or gellishunt@gmail.com
