Meeting Outline:
This meeting will include a discussion on Technology and Backyard Food Production in collaboration with the Hunter Innovation Festival and Newcastle Libraries.
The promise of the Internet of Things (IoT) is not limited to household items or smartphones, but also things we find in our yard and garden.
Members of the Renew form a vibrant network of people actively reducing their impact on the environment by making tangible changes to their homes and lifestyles, and sharing skills with people in their area. The local Hunter Region Branch meets at Wallsend Library on the second Sunday of the month.
This event is part of the Hunter Innovation Festival, you can find more information and a full program on their website.
This new branch has arisen because of the initiative of local members Alex Mills (interim convenor), Gordon Wilson and Han Michel.
If you’re unable to attend, but would be interested in helping to form the small committee to help the branch get started, then please contact us here.
We hope to see you there,
Alex Mills, Interim Convenor
Renew Hunter Region Branch
