Hunter Region Branch

Hunter Region Branch
The Hunter Region Branch is up and running! Our focus is primarily at a grass-roots level where we look for opportunities to connect our regional communities with the expert advice and support for us to learn to live, work and play in a sustainable and healthy way. Networking and creating partnerships is our priority as well as promoting the work of Renew and our two outstanding magazines.
The Branch attends community events to meet and engage with local residents from the broader Hunter Region. We will be at the Sustainable Futures Festival in Port Stephens on Sunday 11 September and two weeks later at the Living Smart Festival at Lake Macquarie. Branch meetings, workshops and excursions will be announced once we have finalised our program for the year. Please get in touch – we’d love to hear from you!
We acknowledge all the traditional owners and custodians of the land and water where we work, live and learn. We pay our respects to all First Nations Peoples of Australia and to Elders past, present and emerging.
Convenor: Ewa Meyer
Committee: Nadine Samwell, Brian Tehan, Tim Meyer.
We don’t want to duplicate what already exists in the Hunter Valley. Here’s some other sustainable living groups you might like to know about and some other useful resources.
