On the first Monday of the month our Renew community gathers in Hobart.
On September 7th – our guest speaker will be David Barwick, Manager of Works Planning at Transend Networks and Director of TPS Energy.
He will discuss the regulations for renewable energy projects in Tasmania, including the proposed solar farm at Pipers River, and another project he is working on in Queensland. The topic may be expanded to include domestic projects as well.
Everyone is welcome to attend the general meeting, but please stay downstairs if you want to chat. The acoustics are poor and it is difficult for people to hear. if others are chatting.
Copies of Sanctuary and Renew magazines for sale, but we can only accept cash for these – $15 for current issues, $10 for editions less than 2 years old and $5 for older.
