This event was organised by Renew’s Sydney Branch with Dr Angelica Rojas, co-founding Director at Includesign, and kindly supported by Inner West Council.
Renovating existing homes offer timely opportunities to co-create environments where life can thrive. Angelica will present on the concept of regenerative design, an approach that aims to actively restore and enhance our environments. She will explore how regenerative principles can be applied to the process of renovating homes, and the potential of transforming our living spaces into contributors to our health and their ecosystems while deepening our connection to the places they inhabit. Angelica will delve into the regenerative design process, highlighting its holistic and adaptive nature. She will then briefly discuss how these concepts can be extended to medium-density housing and adaptive reuse projects.
