Presentations:

Update on Solar PV: There are many changes afoot in the energy industry in Perth. But for early adopters of rooftop solar this also means a nearing end to the favourable feed in tariffs. So where to from here? Craig Donohue from Clean NRG will provide a snapshot of where we are currently placed in the solar industry and some up to date recommendations and options available for solar early adopters and other PV customers. So if you have rooftop solar or are considering options for change, then don’t miss this.

Life Cycle of Australian Buildings: Renew is currently advocating for changes to the National building code to address the need to increase the energy efficiency standard of Australian Dwellings. Fei Ngeow, is going to dig a little deeper with an insight into the full “Life Cycle” of our dwellings and how these tools are being used more commonly to assess new and older houses. E-tool takes a much larger and holistic approach to building assessment and you will find Fei’s presentation both enlightening and inspirational.

Presenters:

After teaching a Product Design course in Shanghai, Fei decided to pursue a Masters in Sustainability Studies at CUSP in Perth. Fei brings her design and assessing expertise to eTool as a Life Cycle Design Engineer. When she’s not reclaiming unwanted food, you can find her cycling around Fremantle or kite-surfing at the beach.
