Dr. Michael Kane, Director Innovation at EDQ will be presenting about the new net zero energy 100% solar and battery housing development being built at Carseldine Village and Songbird at Oxley. Please join us for this informative and interesting evening.

Dr. Michael Kane
Dr. Michael Kane is the Director Innovation at Economic Development Queensland (EDQ). EDQ is a business unit of the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning. Michael’s role is to support EDQ’s innovative planning and development initiatives relating to future transport, smart cities, sustainable energy/water and knowledge economy. Michael has a PhD from Curtin University relating to knowledge economy, urban transport and planning. Outside of EDQ, Michael is undertaking ongoing research into future cities and electrification of aviation and the economy more broadly.
