Rooftop solar for your household
Rooftop solar power systems are more popular than ever in Australia with around 3.5 million panels installed on Australian homes and businesses in 2017 alone.
Solar systems are affordable, grid electricity is becoming more expensive and every system installed helps the environment by placing clean renewable energy into the electricity grid.
Batteries can be added to grid-interactive solar systems to enable a household to use solar electricity when it suits.
Use Renew’s Free Solar and Battery Advice Calculator to plan a solar system that cuts your electricity bills and generates clean energy for years to come.

In Victoria, the Government’s Solar Homes rebate package has been very popular, with nearly 4000 rebates being paid for domestic solar installations since the program was launched in August 2018.
Eligible households can claim a rebate up to $2225 on the cost of a solar system or a $1000 rebate for the replacement of hot water systems with solar hot water.
