The topic for our final sustainability meeting for 2019 will be “Have a very green Christmas”.

At this “consumerism crazy” time of year, this meeting will reflect on ideas from the book “Green Christmas:  how to have a joyous, eco-friendly holiday season” by Jennifer Basye Sander and Peter Sander.  We’d also love you to share your sustainable ideas for the festive season.  If you have time, sneak a quick peek at the book today.  E-books (and a hard copy) are available to borrow from Newcastle Regional Library catalogue here.

There will be lucky door prizes to add festive cheer.

Please bring a cup (Ewan is bringing an espresso machine!), and if you wish you can also bring a small plate of Christmas fare to share.

Renew members form a vibrant network of people actively reducing their impact on the environment by making tangible changes to their homes and lifestyles, and sharing skills with people in their area.

The local Hunter Region Branch meets at Wallsend Library on the second Sunday of the month.

We hope to see you there,

Alex Mills, Interim Convenor
Renew Hunter Region Branch
