Speaker: Ewan Regazzo will speak on the topic of Efficient Houses

In his talk, Ewan provide a short talk on principles regarding efficient building design, and efficient building use. Starting with building principles, providing a basic look at ‘energy’, insulation and thermal mass. He will then show how putting things together can work well (or not work at all). This is primarily focussed on people thinking of building. He will then focus on what can be done with existing houses (shading/insulation/planting), solar PV, heat pumps, and the effectiveness of batteries. Time permitting, there will be a Q&A session at the end.
