Thank you to our Gift of Light donors for exceeding our 2019 goal

Thank you to all who donated to our 2019 Gift of Light campaign. Due to your generosity, we were able to raise $58,000 for the campaign, exceeding our target by 30%. These funds will go a long way to supporting our Solar for Timor program in 2020, allowing us to bring solar power to homes, health clinics, schools and community buildings.

Each giver chose the outcome that they would like their gift to fund. Once consolidated, the 2019 Gift of Light campaign will finance:

• Solar power systems on 160 households,
• Training in solar power for 8-16 local Timorese (depending on the level of training), and
• Maintenance and replacement parts for 3 health clinics or schools.

Your donations will allow us to apply for further funding from businesses and foundations to achieve even greater impact. Mid-year, we will also be launching a specific campaign to fund maintenance and repairs on health clinics and schools.
