Renew welcomes new Board Members

The Renew AGM was held on the 22nd November 2022, and we welcomed four new members to our board: Pula Heralth, Jen Djula, Srini Nori, and Justin Harding. We are so excited about the skills, experience and enthusiasm that these individuals bring to Renew, and look forward to working with them in the year ahead.

Ongoing board members are Mick Harris, Alicia Webb, Graham Hunt and Dick Clarke, and they form our executive team. Dick is our new President, Alicia is continuing on as Vice President, Mick is taking on the role of Treasurer, and Graham is continuing as Secretary. Shaila Divakarla finished up her term with Renew after two years, and Jenita Enevoldsen and Clint Hare will be stepping down in January after more than a year of service. We extend our sincere thanks to Shaila, Jenita and Clint for all their hard work! Renew is all the better for the positive contribution they have each made.

Jen Djula

Jen Djula

With a background in business development and partnerships, most recently in the media and education space, Jen brings with her some valuable insights. She is currently Head of Commercial Partnerships at Small Giants Academy and Dumbo Feather Magazine. Jen believes in the power of storytelling and is committed to using business as a force for good. She works with organisations that are bridging the gap between profit, people and a sustainable future. Through her work with the Small Giants education initiative, she supports the transformative journey of next economy leaders charting a galvanising, hopeful future.

Pula Herath

Pula Herath

Pula is a Chartered Professional Engineer with 32 years of experience in many facets of water and environmental sectors. He held executive positions in two major infrastructure consultancies, Atkins and SMEC, including head of the water department (Hong Kong/China) and general manager and global general manager of the water and environment business. His business leadership has spanned across Australia, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Over the years, he built businesses and directed large teams. Throughout his career, he has been an advocate of sustainable development and environmental protection. Pula is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Justin Harding

Justin Harding

Justin has over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy and energy innovation space, having worked in consulting, State Government, AEMO and industry. With qualifications in Aerospace Engineering and Business Administration, Justin enjoys the interface between technology and strategy, and is passionate about driving sustainable outcomes. Recently Justin managed the Network Innovation Department at AusNet Services, and the Connections Process team at AEMO. He is currently Head of Product Innovation and Engineering at Club Assist, focussing on energy storage and its application in sustainable energy systems. Justin has been a long term member of Renew, including stints as Treasurer of the Melbourne Branch and committee member of the former Melbourne Electric Vehicle Interest Group. Justin has previously undertaken an energy makeover of his own house, converted a petrol car to electric in his garage, and now enjoys an all-electric sustainable home with his wife and two daughters in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs.

Srini Nori

Srini Nori

Srini has more than 20 years of senior IT management and leadership experience in large public and private companies both nationally and internationally across industries as diverse as financial services, education, pharmaceutical, digital, manufacturing and technology services. He is currently working as a director of transformations and holds a bachelor’s degree in business and commerce and a master’s degree in information technology. As a technology leader, Srini has a broad range of experience across Business, IT and digital transformations, Cloud technologies and Cyber security, technology leadership and management, Governance, Digital Marketing, Organisational change, culture change and development and people leadership. Additionally, he is an active coach and mentor. Srini’s recent past has seen him transform an alternative technology-based not-for-profit organization into a digital and global entity in order to disseminate knowledge and technical expertise. He is particularly interested in helping companies use technology to build sustainable businesses, for their customers and for the world at large. He focuses on efficiency and sustainability across all aspects of technology beginning with the design phase.
