Electric Vehicle Expo on March 16
Exciting news! The Electric Vehicle Expo is on again – to be held this year on Saturday, March 16 at the Melbourne International Karting Complex.
Come and see the latest in electric cars, bikes and scooters, hear from electric vehicle owners about their experiences and take test rides.
Special guests will include: Eva Hakansson, the fastest woman on a motorcycle and a passionate campaigner for EVs, Wiebe Wakker who has spent two years driving his ‘Blue Bandit’ electric car from the Netherlands to Australia, and Solar Tuk – a team of young Australians who have taken their solar-powered rickshaw around Australia.
Tickets are now selling for the Expo. Tickets are $10, free for anyone 17 years and under. If you book by February 28, you’ll go into the draw to win one of five VIP Packs which include fast-track passes to get you to the front of any test drive/ride queue, plus much more.
At the Expo, you’ll be able to:
- Test drive new cars on the track and go for a ride on the road in privately-owned EVs
- Test ride an electric bike, trike, skateboard and more on the small vehicle track
- Get advice from one of our many exhibitors
- See a range of individually built vehicles entered into the Show N Shine competition
- Listen to speakers throughout the day.
The Electric Vehicle Expo is Australia’s largest gathering of electric cars, bikes, motorbikes, scooters, skateboards and other EVs. The event is run by Renew, Australia’s leading not-for-profit organisation promoting sustainable living, and sponsored by EVolution.
