Presentations: As Sustainable House Day in WA continues to grow, the Perth Renew Branch is keen to offer members and Non-members the opportunity to learn more about the design features and materials that interests us the most. Feedback from attendees to Sustainable house day 2018 indicated that 78% of visitors wanted to learn more about windows and window treatments. And 74% of attendees to the national event wanted to learn more about insulation. This event will focus on these two areas and more. The topics will cover new builds, refits , improvements and renovations.

Speakers: Sid Thoo, a local expert in sustainable architecture, will be opening the evening with a presentation on the key eco-effective design principles to incorporate in a new build, plus the latest in green insulation. We’ll also be hearing from Adrian Fratelle, director of ecohabit, who is another local designer and sustainability educator. Adrian will be sharing practical tips and lessons for renovating to create climate healthy homes, with a focus on windows & glazing. Interestingly, he will be reflecting on his own experience as he is currently renovating himself!
