The Energy Project is a specialist energy consulting firm serving commercial, institutional and government clients. Their services include:

  • Identifying energy efficiency/solar and storage opportunities
  • Energy and tariff reviews and advising optimisation
  • Economic and technical analysis, business case development, risk analysis and QA

Jake specialises in energy efficiency, solar power and demand management as well as electric vehicles. Most recently he designed and managed the delivery of large government energy programs for low income households. For East Waste the company conducted an energy review and tariff analysis which led to a lighting upgrade, solar power, an electric vehicle and associated charging station.

Annual meeting: This is our general meeting and includes election of the Adelaide Branch Committee for 2020. At our November meeting nominations were invited for the positions of Convenor, Treasurer and Committee Members.

Other Events:

13-15 March 2020: Earthship Homes – Weekend Workshop. Learn the gentle art of pounding tyres, stomping cob and making bottle bricks. It’s muddy, sweaty fun, but with an important purpose: super sustainable housing. Cost $290 (for earlybirds) which includes all meals, camping, and tour of Earthship Ironbank – Australia’s first council approved Earthship. Lots more information about the workshop can be found on the Earthship Eco Homes website here.
