Sydney West Branch
Sydney West Branch
The Renew Sydney West Branch meets at the Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre, Western Sydney University, Richmond, NSW.
The Centre features extensive permaculture and native gardens, water tanks and a solar passive community building constructed from strawbale, rammed earth and mud bricks. The Hawkesbury Artist Group and the Henry Doubleday Research Association are also located at the centre.
WSU Solar Car site visit
We recently had a fascinating visit to the WSU Solar Car team workshop. This is the team that won the 2018 American Solar Challenge.
The Sydney West Branch meets bimonthly on the first Saturday of the month at 10.30am. In 2021, we will meet in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
As the location of meetings can vary, it is recommended to call 0417 284 374 prior to attending. We generally meet at the Hawkesbury EarthCare Centre. All welcome.
Convener: Jenny Dibley
Committee: Andrew Leahy, Gary Callanan, Eric Brocken, Barry Yardley
Treasurer: vacant
