Sustainable House Day 2025

Sustainable House Day 2025 is on Sunday, 4 May.

At Sustainable House Day you can visit some of Australia’s most inspiring green homes and learn more from those who designed, built, and live in them.

In 2025, we are focussing on retrofits and renovations, that can help Australians to make their homes more energy-efficient, cost-efficient and comfortable.

Tickets are now on sale!

This year’s event features over 230 homes, with 150+ open for in-person tours showcasing diverse approaches to sustainable living.

Many open home tours will include extra information from Council Partners and community groups, such as members of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association (and their cars!).

Don’t miss this opportunity to see sustainable design in action and learn directly from people who live there. Bookings are essential, with limited places available to ensure a meaningful experience.
