The forum will focus on the when, why and how of installing solar and storage. It will begin with short presentations about different scenarios such as:

The presentations will set the scene for an extended Q&A session.

FLIR Thermal imaging IR camera: As the hot weather approaches it’s an ideal time to check the insulation in your walls and ceiling using the Adelaide branch FLIR infrared camera. It’s cheap to hire for a couple of days, easy to use and is quick to pinpoint insulation problems. For hire details see the website here.

Other events: The current ASBN newsletter lists several local sustainability events, see their website here for details.

Other News: Solar panels for sale. A 2kW set of solar panels is being sold with proceeds to benefit Village Lighting Scheme in Timor Leste. See the ‘Solar Panels For Sale By Expression Of Interest’ section on our branch website for full details.

Next meeting: There will be no meeting in December or January and our next will be on 18th February 2019.
