As Australia’s only solar panel manufacturer for domestic solar panels, Tindo Solar has been the silent but steady local that many people have never heard of.

They have steadily improved their panel manufacturing process to the point where they recently received Choice’s best-performing rooftop solar module in the country ranking with their Karra 410W series panels.

Their latest panel is the 8th generation 430W Wallara series, which are the first to use N-type cells combined with 35mm frames to make a more rigid, damage resistant panel, according to Tindo.

Other features include a maximum system voltage of 1500V, fully tempered 3.2mm double anti-reflective coated glass, module efficiency of 22%, power tolerance of 0 to +5% and a power coefficient of –0.32%/°C. Warranty is a decent 25 years.

Walara will be available in various cell configurations as well as white-back, black-back and bi-facial variations. The panels measure 1722 x 1133 x 35mm and weigh 22kg. Pricing is POA through your local solar installer.
